The Context
TDot illdude was promoting "ALIVE" and needed reach without a major label budget. Traditional influencer marketing was expensive and disconnected from his actual community. The opportunity: activate the fans who already believed in the music—and give them a reason to work for it.
The Insight
Reposts from real fans outperform paid placements because they carry trust. But asking fans to promote for free only goes so far. Attach real economics to real action, and you turn passive supporters into an active distribution network.
The Approach
Instagram-native activation. We built the campaign around an IG Reel—meeting TDot's audience where they already were.
Clear value exchange. First 50 fans to reshare the Reel claimed a split: $50 per 1,000 views, distributed automatically as the numbers climbed.
Community capture. Each split included access to "ALIVE" on Formless plus a direct connection to TDot via email—turning a promo moment into a lasting relationship.
